Owing to the ongoing information that has been spreading on social media, that the proposed Prince Paradise Estate, in Emuhu is in dispute with Umunede kingdom, the Eze of Emuhu Community and one of the sellers of the land for the proposed estate, Mr. Justin Nwaka clearly stated that anyone who is claiming such land should first of all claim the buildings before jumping to Prince Paradise Estate.
He said that the said land was an inheritance from his late father.
“When Prince Okonye came to us, we were about twelve in number that sold the land.He told us that he wants to build an estate in our community and we agreed and before then, no Umunede person came to claim the land. He added, “whoever is saying that the land belongs to Umunede should tour round to see for himself or herself, the sign board alone is an evidence.
Similarly, the three brothers, Mr. John, Mr. Augustine and Mr. Martins Okonye were another family members Prince Okonye bought land from. They stated that they were the ones who sold the land to Prince Okonye and it is not in litigation with anybody and anyone who is saying that is Umunede’s land is an enemy of Ika land and that person does not want progress.
However Kenneth Onyemaechi Ikoko, the Eze of Emuhu revealed that the land which Prince Okonye brought were from individuals in Emuhu. He said that the land is not in any dispute with the people of Umunede and it is not even closed to Umunede, adding that the one in dispute is at the other side and it has been resolved.
“So anyone claiming that the proposed Prince Paradise Estate is in dispute should better stop his/her evil act, all we want is peace, don’t breech the peace we share with the people of Umunede. Don’t destroy the good works that is about to happen in Emuhu” he said.
He advised the PPGC boss to continue with the good works without fear, that God is behind them as his community will ensure peace and progress in the area.
