A renowned preacher of the gospel and General Overseer of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission,also known as, Miracle Centre, Prophet Joseph Igbodo has on Thursday, December 17,2020 put smile on faces of over one hundred widows in Ubulu-Uku, Delta State.
The man of God, who doubled as the Proprietor of Job Orphanage and St. Stephen Widow’s Home in his kind gesture donated cartons of Indomie Noodules, cartoons of tomatoes, cartoons of cheese balls and other items to the Widows.
While addressing the widows, Prophet Igbodo appreciated the Resident Pastor of New Gospel Centre, Ubulu-Uku and his wife, Pastor and Pastor Mrs Utomi for bringing him to identify with the widows in their area. He also thanked his pastors for always standing by him in carrying out the mandate that God has given to him.
I thank God for your life. I will not voice out everything today but I will come other time to unveil what God has for you.
This is not a political gathering but church. We are not just here to share food but to pray, so that your life and children and the community at large will be meaningful. God does not joke with the widows, as He is always attentive to their request and prayers. God is here to change your level and ensure that you are living very fine. God has respect for widows who are diligent in his house. Be devoted to God’s work, so that God can bless you and your entire family. By so doing, growth and development will come to the community.
Poverty is a disease. When one is poor, he gets angry easily at all times.
You are very lucky to have a good son who has your interest and need at heart. It was because of him, that was why we are here today. Good son is a blessing to his community but a wicked one is a curse to the community”, he affirmed.
He told them that they are now marrying to God and as such, they should keep away from every appearance of evil. He charged them to learn how to pray, so as to give themselves a better life and procure God’s blessings.
The widows in their separate remarks who were beamed with smiles appreciated the Prophet of God for his kind gestures to their well being, saying that it is an unprecedented one and first of its kind and as such Christmas is settled for them, praying God to continuing to prosper him and his family, as well as his ministry.
