The Chairman, All Progressives Congress,APC in Ika South Local Government Area, Elder Moses Nwakor has advised members of the party to remain loyal to the acting Executive Director, Project, Interim Management Committee(IMC), Niger Delta Development Commission ( NDDC), Chief Dr Cairo who he described as a great and selfless political leader who meant well for his people.
Elder Nwakor handed down the advice on Friday last week when he was addressing APC members in Ika South during their enlarged meeting. He stated that the time has come for every member of the party in the local government to be focused and pledged total loyalty to their principal, Cairo Ojougboh. He noted that any member of Ika South APC who is not loyal to Ojougboh does not mean well for the party, warning that henceforth, the party will no more tolerate any form of indiscipline.
While calling for a unified APC in the local government, he assured that his leadership will continue to promote peace, unity and progress in the party. He thanked all members who are committed to the party, urging them to remain committed and focused.
Hon Williams Eluma, in his remark, advised members not to give out their voters cards to persons who he claimed are moving about to deceive voters in the name of empowerment.
“Please do not give out your voters cards to anyone, particularly members of a political party that has failed Nigerians.They are deceivers who are looking for every opportunity to win elections. They have no empowerment programmes to give anybody,” Hon Eluma said.
Clement Ebie, Chuks Osazuwa and other members of the party who spoke during the enlarged meeting called for more seriousness and commitment, especially among ward chairmen in the party.They pledged their unflinching support and unalloyed loyalty to the party and Cairo Ojougboh.
