The Chairman Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ika North East Local Government Area, Hon. Chuks Agboma, has admonished the party faithful to respect the party leadership at all levels.
Hon. Agboma gave the admonition during an enlarge meeting with the leadership of the party amongst other stakeholders and political appointee on Friday July 24, 2020 at the party secretariat in Boji-Boji Owa.
According to him, “I am appealing to everyone to learn to respect the leadership of our great party. Be it an executive member such as a woman leader or youth leader at the LGA or ward level, its mandatory that every of your activities be known to your chairman first for approval. We all must respect party authority”, he said.
The chairman used the opportunity to remind individual having interest to contest in the forthcoming local government elections not to heat up the polity since the state Independent Electoral Commission has not release timetable for the election.
He enjoined everyone to joins hands to work for the party towards bringing back all aggrieved members of the party, saying that the doors of PDP is ever open to receive everyone as one.
