Dr. Francis Buzugbe Abavo in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State has opined that unemployment in Nigeria is one of the most critical problem’s the country’s facing inspite of its resources.
Dr. Buzugbe stated that the International Labour Organization law which states that in Sub-sahara Africa, Nigeria inclusive unemployment affects between 15 percent and 20 percent of the workforce.
He noted that young people comprise more than 40 percent of the total number of the employed in most cases.
He said in the light of this, the Federal Government and the State Government should create job opportunities for “our teeming youth’s who have just graduated from schools without job and roaming about in the street”.
Buzugbe who is a member of National Association of Nigeria Traditional Medicine Practitioners (N.A.N.T.M.P), Delta State Chapter made the assertion at the Trado-medical meeting held recently in the state.
He appealed to trado-medical practitioners to look beyond their profession for future awareness.
He said that he is specialized in the treatment of stroke, ulser, diabetes, cancer, tetanus, waist-pain and good-luck medicine which he inherited from his forefather’s he said that the trodo-medical practitioners can do better than orthodox doctors if the needed equipments are provided for them.
