Some Executive Members of Okpams Foundation, a Non Governmental Organization, founded by Late Hon. Christian Okpambor, have extended their tributes in memory of their great leader and mentor.
Mr. Chikweson Obi, The Chairman of Ward 3, Okpams Foundation Boji Boji Urban; stated that it’s a pity that they are gathered to mourn their leader, late Hon. Christian Okpambor.
He described him as a guru, a philanthropist, a man of integrity, full of wisdom and a meek hearted man; saying that his demise was a painful loss. He enjoined members of the group to take heart and learn how to forge ahead with his ideals and principles.
Comrade Eboka Patrick, who is a retired Army Officer and the Ika North East LGA Deputy Chairman of Okpams Foundation; who said they came to pay their last respect to their leader and mentor Late Hon. Christian Okpambor.
He described him as a humble personality, a man with a beautiful heart who delighted in assisting the needy and less privileged persons in the society.
Continuing, he stated that the exit of their leader at the age of 50 years old was very painful and a great loss to Ika Nation.
Prince Ojeah Jonathan, The Ward 4 Chairman of Okpams Foundation in Ika North East LGA of Delta State; while expressing the grief in his heart on the demise of their amiable leader and founder; stated that their was nothing with which to compare him with considering his philanthropic and humanitarian assistance and services to members of his locality and beyond; saying that “if we have about ten or even two leaders with similar mindset like that of late Hon. Christian Okpambor, in Ika North East LGA, I don’t think that there would be any suffering in the area, he was the man who showed Politicians in the council area and even Delta State in general that Empowerment is what they should be giving to the masses. It is worthy of note to mention that he performed exceedingly in that regard”.
He prayed God to grant him eternal rest and use his good deeds while on earth to judge him.
