Richard is handsome and tall. He is in his late 20’s and the only child of his mother. He is a business man, dealing in sales of motor tyres (New and fairly used) and married to a pretty lady who is a staff of a ministry in Asaba.
His wedding to his wife was splendid. It was graced by dignitaries from all walks of life. In fact, compliance of Covid-19 was strictly observed.
Things were moving on fine for Richard and his wife until the unexpected happened.
Before this time, his wife had already taken in, she was pregnant.
It was a turning point in Richard’s life. A fairly looking woman in her early 50’s but looks younger than her age because of her petite nature and her lovely body came to purchase some tyres from Richard store. There and then, Richard was captivated by her prettiness and the tonic of love ensued between the woman and Richard. And they started dating. The woman lived in a well furnished duplex along Okpanam road. By this development, Richard no longer give his wife the much needed attention. At times he keeps late night. And in some time return home the next morning or resume at his store from the woman’s place.
This situation gave his wife sleepless nights coupled with quarrels. At this juncture, the wife had to report the issue to Richard’s mother.
Richard’s mother did everything possible to bring Richard back to his senses but to no avail. The love for the woman had taken over Richard. Richard felt he was been disturbed and finally moved out of his four-bed room flat he built at the Cable Point area of Asaba to live with the sugar mom, leaving his two months pregnant wife.
Report just reaching me that Richard had file for divorce.
You may call it madness!
