Words on the marble
“Ika South PDP belongs to all of us. It is not for only one man. One person cannot decide for all of us when it comes to decision making. Therefore, let us work faithfully and collectively with Governor Okowa and Jude Onya in order for us to move our great party forward”.
-Rotn Peter Idion, Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Political Matters
“Agbor-Nta has a large number of voters; unfortunately, it has only two polling units. We passed through difficulties in any election because of the shortage of polling units. We are appealing that the polling units in Agbor-Nta be increased,”
“Every aspiring leader and/or existing leader must be driven by an actionable and positively impactful ideology on which his/her aspiration or leadership is anchored or he or she is a joke like the ones we have had in Nigeria since the past sixty year who have sailed the country’s destiny into a wreck.
I have a simple common sense idea that will save Nigeria from collapsing from most, if not all all of her major problems including but not limited to her endemic corruption.
It is called “Open Nigeria” and it does not require yet another wasteful gathering of the country’s locusts put together by the inordinate men and women who have been holding our collective destiny hostage since 1999.
If you are one of the repressed, oppressed, voiceless and disenfranchised Nigerian patriots within Nigeria and around the world who truly yearns for an alternative to the Nigerian closed doors and darkness, join the “Open Movement” that would lead to an “Open Nigeria” and start sharing the “Open Ideology.
Thank you and I look forward to working with you if you choose to be part and driver of a history in the making”.
“Ika South PDP Reconciliation Committee has gone into action since its inauguration. We are working very seriously to ensure we delivered the mandate given to us. We are going to work in synergy with the Rt Hon Prince Sam Obi led Committee to produce maximum result. We are not going to disappoint our dear governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and our great party, PDP. We will remain grateful to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Mr. Jude Onya, leaders of our party and members for finding us worthy to serve. Together, we will move Ika South PDP forward.”
“PDP is viable today because people pay the sacrifice. No party grows without funding. The executive governor of Delta State pays party due, I pay my own too, and so, I wondered why a political office holder will not pay due to the party that has elevated him or her. Party is supreme, it is the machinery through which you got to power, then why the delay or refusal to support the party financially. I am serious about this; any political appointee who is not paying party due will be thrown out for others to come in. What is bad is bad. If political appointees refused to pay dues how will the party grow?”
“My inauguration ceremony was done at the APC Secretariat, Km 7, along Benin-Agbor road on July 16, 2020.It was witnessed by Chieftains of the party. Unfortunately, Doris Uboh rather than support and join efforts with us to move our party forward went ahead to open her own Secretariat and inaugurated her own Chairman, Moses Ebede, a businessman who is not living in Agbor. Uboh, Ebede and their cohorts are out to destroy APC but, we are not going to allow them succeed. Members of the public should therefore discard any information announcing Moses Ebede as APC Chairman in Ika South. I am the true Chairman of the party and we will not tolerate any attempt to rubbish the image of our great party no matter how highly placed the person is. I call on APC members to remain calm and keep supporting the APC leadership in Ika South led by Barr Felix Morka and State Chairman, Prophet Jones Erue in their relentless efforts to move APC forward.”
–Mr. Frank Izekor speaking on his emergence as APC Chairman, Ika South Chapter.
Note: More details on the interview with Mr. Frank Izekor on his emergence as APC Chairman of Ika South Local Government will be published in our next edition.
“Ika South Local Government will grow to an enviable height if political office holders empower their people, including elders”.
–Mr. Joseph Arimiche Agboifo, popularly known as, Dokita Best.
What with NDDC expo, the imbroglio of feeding children not in schools, the Magu cascades, the muddle of new FGN jobs; should Nigerians just watch and laugh as lack and poverty weakens & kills d masses?
