A popular community leader and staunch supporter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ika South Local Government Area, Delta State, Mr Joseph Agboifo, popularly known as, Dokita Best, has said that the incumbent Chairman of Ika South deserves a second term in office.
Dokita Best who spoke to newsmen in Agbor during the week noted that Okoh has recorded laudable results since he assumed office in January, 2018. He listed the achievements to include the landscaping and tiling of the Council Secretariat, environmental sanitation, security, maintenance of peace, building of Edike Market, Agbor and the on-going construction of Dein International Market, Agbor.
He added that an elected office holder who has shown commitment in rendering quality and selfless service to his or her people deserves the support of the people to continue in office.
According to Dokita Best, “The present Chairman of Ika South Local Government Council, Hon( Barr) Victor Okoh,has done very well since his assumption of office about three years ago. He has shown commitment and capacity in his resolve to make our local government a better one. He has within this short time in office rendered quality and selfless service to our people, hence,we should support him to continue in office for another term of three years after his tenure ends January next year.
Speaking further the Agbor born politician said, “We need creative men back to power. Hon(Barr) Victor Okoh should be re-elected to enable him complete the good work he is doing and also do more for the people.The people of Ika South need Hon Okoh more than any other aspirant. He is a man of the people and we all need him to do more good things for us.”
He therefore appealed to the people of Ika South to wholeheartedly support the second term bid of Hon Okoh.
