It was indeed a moment of funfair and celebration galore, as the family of Mr. Victor Onorhiode of Ozoro town, the headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State gave their daughter, Miss Blessing Onorhiode in marriage to Mr. Hillary Arogba both from Isoko North Local Government Area of the State.
The marriage ceremony took place on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in Agbor-Obi, Agbor.
Chatting with pressmen, the father of the bride, Mr. Victor Onorhiode expressed gratitude to God, saying that he is overwhelmed with joy and happiness over his daughter’s marriage. He noted that he is a proud father this day.
“God is the one who instituted marriage and as such the couple should follow the laid down principles of marriage as ordained by God, so as to reap the dividends of it. They should understand, love and care for each other. The man should learn to defend his wife at all times, while the wife should learn to respect her husband always. They should resolve any challenge arising from their union, so that they can be bound together forever”, he affirmed.
In separate remarks, the couple stated they are the happiest persons on earth, because this day is their day of celebration. They said that it is a dream come true and fulfillment of one of their visions.
They thanked everyone who graced the occasion for their support, prayer and contributions for the success of their marriage, praying God to prosper them in all areas of life and grant them journey mercy back to their various destinations.
The high points of the occasion were, cutting of cake, presentation of gifts to the couple and taking of group photographs.
