A concerned Nigerian and youth leader, Mr Clement Ebie has made case for vigilante members by telling Government and spirited individuals or groups to ensure any possible way in which monthly stipends could be paid to vigilante members.
Ebie who spoke in an interview at his office in Agbor said, “I have deep concern for vigilante members in Agbor who have been very effective in the fight against crime. Our vigilante groups particularly the one at Sunny Ojougboh area have done very well in complementing the police in the fight against crime in Agbor and its environs. A good businessman deserves wages; hence, I want to support an earlier call for the welfare of vigilante members by Evang. Paul Ebede. If stipends are given to vigilante members every month it will spur them to work harder.”
He thanked the various vigilante groups in Agbor for their commitment, urging them to keep on with the good work.
