“You don’t agitate for what you already have. The present secretary of the Party is from Abavo, the Deputy Chairman that resigned from the Party was from Abavo and will be replaced by another person from Abavo just as the new chairman was appointed from the same Ward 3 that the former chairman hailed from. It’s an internal zoning arrangement by the Party which runs from the National to the Wards. So, I personally do not understand the need for this agitation.
But those agitators should know that they cannot eat their cake and still have it. If they support the negative move to take the Chairmanship away from Ward 3, then the Deputy Chairmanship will definitely be taken away from Abavo.
Ihu-Ozomor people are not fools and will not allow that which belong to them by the privilege of zoning to be taken away from them”.
-Ika South APC Chairman, Frank Izekor speaking on the agitation that the Deputy Chairman and Secretary of the party in the local government should come from Abavo.

“I fear death and heartbroken when the body of my good childhood friend, late Christian Okpambor was moved for interment. It was then I knew that indeed we are in the world of vanity”.

“I recognized early in life how dangerous the lives of men of the truth can get at times because of the threats their uncompromising attitudes that make them deviants in abnormal societies like Nigeria where hate, mischief, deceit, tyranny, falsehood, the violation of human rights and disregard for rule of law have become norms pose to the authorities who manipulate their vulnerable victims using poverty as a tool to recruit and train them as foot soldiers under political banners to fight against their own liberation and sustain their own captivity.
This clear understanding of the pathology of poverty and the vulnerability of the oppressed and repressed people of Nigeria starting from my hometown of ABAVO in Delta state, has been one of the major inspirations that has brought me so far, and I strongly believe would take me even farther in the dangerous journey I have embarked on for humanity, regardless of the uncertainties I may encounter along the way.

Work in progress
“Good things and the eyes are twin brothers” say our Elders. The “temporary” location of CTC Market along Edike street is now wearing a new look as work is ongoing in the site. I took time off my schedule today 3/8/2020 to see things myself. It is a well thought out project. To God be the Glory.I salute the courage and determination of the workaholic Ika South Council Boss, Hon Barr Victor Okoh as he strives to leave his footsteps positively on the sand of time despite some odds.
My Chairman, I know you are loaded and pregnant with “goodies” for Ika South L G A.May God grant you more of His grace to continue the good work and the wisdom to offload and deliver successfully for the good of all. May He also give the strength of mind to correct lapses, if any, in the journey so far because no man is perfect.
I am proud of you.
Long live Ika South Local Government Area”.

“The desires of the Ogisi of Oza-nogogo and his people that the planned Secondary School (SIOTOH)be used as a higher institution instead. The reason for this is simple. We already have a functional secondary school in place, and a higher educational institution will be more beneficial at this point in time.
—–Part of the address presented by the people of Oza-nogogo during their visit to the Dein of Agbor, His Royal Majesty Dr Benjamin Ikenchuku Keagborekwuzi I, at his palace at Ime-Obi,on Saturday, August 1.
Specifically, the type of school we desire most in the community now is Tertiary Institution of learning. If the government has no specific higher institution in mind, we crave your indulgence and support to immediately site a vocational school with a minimum of National Diploma level at the facility. Such institution will trigger further development in the area and bring about mutual benefits to both the communities and the government. We believe that such development will give Your Majesty that sense of satisfaction, joy and happiness that is usually associated with seeing an important project to successful completion.
We hereby, seek the support of Your Majesty in this regard and we are confident that your support (directly or indirectly) will bring to fruition the yearnings of the good people of Oza-Nogogo”.

“It is a normal practice for everyone, particularly our women to work hard in order eke a living as laziness leads to hunger and poverty, but it is necessary that they go about their businesses legitimately and not to endanger their lives.
Shading on the road is no way a positive approach to trade. This has brought terrible experience to road users not to even think of the dangers the traders are exposed to while trading on the road. It is even shocking that inside the market is empty because the traders left to crowd the road all in the name of making sales. However, since they have refused to yield to advice, government will remain resolute in taking necessary actions to have them do the right thing,”
–Member representing Ika South Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Festus Okoh (Chuky Dandy) speaking on the traffic gridlock at Baleke Street, Agbor owing to the activities of traders.
“You need 2k for subscription from a guy that needs 20k to fix his car who is looking up to his friend that needs 200k for his business and is asking for it from his brother that needs 2M to complete his house, who is in turn asking the bank manager for loan of 20million to execute a government contract, of which the same government is requesting for a loan of 200billion from China.
Everybody’s got problems.
Appreciate people that give no matter how little”.~ Anonymous

“Hon Chief Dr Cairo Ojougboh is the indefatigable and indisputable leader of All Progressives Congress, APC in Ika South Local Government Area. Any other person parading him or her as a leader is playing to the gallery.”
