Young talented Nigerians should delve into entertainment
- Dr. Donald Peterson
he played host to Dome Bright and members of his team at his residence at Ime-Obi, Agbor last Sunday, October 25.

Peterson, an economist and successful businessman disclosed that the entertainment industry is a very vast one which should be tapped into by developing nations like Nigeria.
According to him, “The entertainment industry is a very huge one. The GDP of Hollywood which is a subsector of the American entertainment industry is higher than that of Nigeria, an oil producing country. The revenue from Nigeria’s Nollywood in one of my lectures, I said may soon surpass Nigeria’s oil revenue. Fossil fuel may soon get finished but the entertainment industry remains. The entertainment industry will be forever because man cannot live without entertainment, we all yearn for entertainment. My advice to talented young Nigerians is for them to delve into the entertainment industry.
While appreciating Dome Bright for his vision to help grow the entertainment industry, Peterson said “I call Dome Bright my dear son not for political reason, it’s because I’m proud of him. I want him to grow as he thrives towards success. I want him to improve on his content and come out regularly with shows. Also mentor and grow those around you who are willing to go into the entertainment industry.
He pledged his total support for Dome Bright in his entertainment career, urging him to work hard, remain focused and be innovative to enable him achieve his goals. He concluded by wishing Dome Bright well in his career.
In his remark, Dome Bright expressed gratitude to Donald Peterson for his huge support, advice and encouragement. He stated that he is proud to identify with Peterson who he described as great, charismatic and visionary.
In the words of Dome Bright, “Donald Peterson speaks of tomorrow not today. He is a charismatic leader, selfless, focused and result oriented.
